Customer Review: Worst point and shoot/ pocket camera I’ve ever owned
I’m a bit of a camera geek. A few years ago, I went on a vacation where I couldn’t take my big, bulky digital SLR, so I bought a Nikon P4 that fit in my pocket. I had actually forgotten how much fun a simple point and shoot camera could be! Sadly, that camera met an untimely end a few weeks ago.

Customer Review: Price ???
Something seems strange – BH and everywhere else it’s $200 but here it is listed for more than $500…. Am I missing something?
Customer Review: Great lens for an unbelievable price.
I have both this lens and the 50mm lens. They are both great lenses but I prefer the 35mm as I feel it is slightly sharper. I am using this lens with a D90 and have gotten great results. I am new to the DSLR world and this lens has opened my eyes to pics I didn’t think about before. I would recommend this lens to anyone looking for a “prime” lens….if you have the D40 or D60 this lens is a must have. Some places are charging crazy prices for this lens which is just stupid. Just place your order and wait for it to come back into stock. This is always out of stock because it is such a great and versatile lens. Highly recommended.

A digital camera produces excellent photographs. For many years however, professional photographers have discussed the drawbacks to the digital camera from the perspective of image quality which does not always match that available through a traditional 35mm film camera. The convenience afforded by going digital however far outweighs the minor loss in perceptible quality for most consumers.

Customer Review: My first Canon camera
This is the first time I tried Canon. I wanted to try different brands of point and shoot cameras and I’ve had a Nikon and Sony in the past. I thought it was time to buy a new one when my Sony of 4 years started to suddenly not respond appropriately. I mainly chose this Canon model because this is the only model that has the size proportion and screen that I like. It’s true that it’s noisy even if I already adjusted the volumes; but I tend to keep my camera on most of the time so as not to miss a nice shot whenever I’m out taking pictures, so it helps remind me to turn it off. I also find that there is a lag in response when shooting pictures unlike my Sony, that I’ve missed some good shots. However, when I do get the shots I wanted, the pictures look so good and the movie mode is wonderful as well. The function dial and some of the buttons are still a little confusing but I’m giving myself time to get acquainted with it a little more. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and if it gives me 4-5 years worth of good service, then the price is just right.
Customer Review: Great addition to Canon Digital Elph line
The new Canon SD970IS Digital Camera represents the expected quality from this legacy of point-and-shoot cameras. The ease of use is much enhanced over the 5 MP Elph we replaced. The view screen is larger; anti-motion and 5X digital zoom, and the auto mode-select all work smoothly and quickly. We also find it easier to photograph toddlers, since the time lag between pushing the button and the shutter click is much shorter. The exposure monitoring also follows faces well, so the subject is less apt move out of the area of optimal exposure. Finally, the CPU and photo storage rates are significantly faster, so larger image sizes can be used routinely. Thus, sharp 8×10 images are the norm.
