Panasonic DMW-BLB13 Battery for Panasonic G1 Digital SLR Cameras Lithium-Ion battery
Customer Review: This brand only!
If you update your camera firmware to V1.3 or greater you can only use this brand. Panasonic did so due to overheating of 3rd party batteries.
Customer Review: Always have an extra battery charged and with you
I only gave it 4 star as it would be nice if it came with a nice small case to keep the extra battery in while in your camera bag. But it does its job and you can’t ask for more than that. I think everyone should always have an extra charged battery with them whenever they are carrying the camera. I missed a great shot once when my battery went dead and my extra was the one in the camera as I had switched it the day before and never charged the other.

Customer Review: Hard to get autofocus right
I bought this camera as one of the preparations of being a new dad.
Having been using it for 5+ months, I am disappointed with the photos I took with it. Most of them are simply out of focus. So the images are blurry.

Nikon GP-1 GPS Unit for Nikon Digital SLR Cameras Correlation between pictures and maps is supported by GPS function in conjunction with ViewNX version 1.2 software (no-charge download available Autumn 2008) and my Picturetown.
Customer Review: Fun toy for nikon camera
I bought this for my husband who is just getting into photography. He thinks it is a fun little gizmo to add to his camera and likes the gps location/time stamp that is added w/ the photo info as the new iPhoto software seems to make use of it.
Customer Review: Amazing unit!
I recently purchased a D90 and am about to travel through Europe for 3 weeks. On previous trips with a point and shoot I could never remember where I took my pictures upon arriving back in the states. When looking at 600 pictures over a period of weeks the sites all run together. I purchased the GP-1 and installed it on my D90 with no issues. I am using the included strap attachment to attach the GPS unit. I went outside my house and within 30 seconds I was solid green and communicating with satellites. I snapped a few pics and went inside to load the pics on the computer. The images downloaded to my computer and when using a supported geotagging site it showed me the picture and a little peg of where I was standing…right in the street. I was amazed it was so accurate. I would say within about 3 feet. If this unit works this well in Europe, I will be a happy boy. I even got a signal from the GPS unit (solid green) in my home office about 3 feet from a window. I am not sure why all the complaints about this product as I am new to the DSLR world and I had this up and running in a matter of minutes. Simple. I highly recommend using one of these.

Customer Review: 18-105mm or 18-200mm
I was torn between the 18-105mm and 18-200mm. After a week of shooting with both on a D40x a few things became clear:
- the 105 seems to be more reliable – it can focus correctly more often (less hunt) and the VR, though less powerful than the VRII, reduces blur more often (for me) than the VRII on the 200mm
- the 105 is much more comfortable on the D40/D60 body. It feels almost perfect. Not too heavy; not too light. Just right.
- the color saturation is better on the 18-200mm
- the sharpness is very similar on both (at the center at least).
